Popular singer Nazmun Munir Nancy, who fell sick at her residence at Chhotogara in Netrakona district town after taking excessive sleeping pills on Saturday evening, was shifted to Labaid Hospital in the city on Sunday.
Hospital sources said, Nancy was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital from Dhaka Medical College Hospital at around 10 am.
Quoting family members, Sufia Jesmin, a nurse of Netrakona Sadar Hospital, said Nancy fell sick as she had been taking excessive sleeping pills since Friday afternoon.
