Today is the Silver Jubilee of Asian University of Bangladeshwhich was established on 4th January, 1996, to aspire new horizon in higher education. It was founded by internationally renowned educationist, economist, researcher, and writer professor Dr. AbulHasan M Sadeq. It all started with a vision to impart ethically oriented high quality education to all walks of life including the rural masses at an affordable cost. At the beginning, there were only two schools and three departments. AUB is fully operational at its spacious permanent campus at Ashulia.
A year-long program has been chalked outto celebrate the Silver JubileeYear 2021 including international seminars, workshops, Math Olympiad at the national level,alumni get-together, cultural programs, sports competitions, and so on. At present, Asian University of Bangladesh has 5 schools, 13 departments, rich library, state-of-the-art labs, and quality teachers. AUB produce graduates who are professionally skilled, morally up-right and physically fit. AUB graduates are doing very well at home and abroad.
