Staff Reporter :Customs Intelligence on Monday arrested a passenger at Benapole land port for carrying 5 gold bars inside his shoe before entering India.Those gold bars weighing 1.25 Kilogram worth Tk 62 lakh were secretly hidden inside his shoes. Acting on a tip-off, the Customs Intelligence checked the passenger and identified him as Selim Hawladar after he crossed the Customs and Immigration at Benapole land port.
