Country’s celebrated professional golfer Siddikur Rahman clinched the title of the Gemcon Players Golf Championship scoring 270 with 18 under par that concluded at the Kurmitola Golf Course here on Thursday.
Two international professional golf winners, Siddiqur Rahman received a prize money of Tk 1.3 lakh.
Promising professional golfer Mohammad Zakiruzzaman Zakir finished runner-up scoring 282 with six under par to receive prize money of Tk 89,000.
Jamal Hossain Mollah became 3rd scoring 283 with five under par and received prize money of Tk 63,600.
A total of 30 golfers took part in the four-day meet.
Senior Vice-President of Bangladesh Golf Federation and Logistic Area Commander of Dhaka Major General Mizanur Rahman Khan was the chief guest at the closing function and later he distributed prizes in the afternoon.
Vice-chairman of the meet’s sponsor Gemcon Group Kazi Nabil Ahmed MP was also present on the occasion.
