Few days ago, Md Rabiul Shikder made a short film titled Amader Arjon focusing our national flag. He got appreciation to make the film. From that time he dreamt to make a full length feature film. From the beginning of this year, he has started to make a movie titled Birongonar Juddho. Noted actress Shilpi Sarkar Apu is acting in the title role in the movie.
Director Rabiul himself wrote story of the movie. As a director, he has many dreams with this movie but he does not know how his dream comes into true. In fact, he faced financial crisis while making this film. But he did not stop his work. He is making the movie by own way.
He believes if anybody comes forward then he can make and release the movie within short time. Rabiul started his journey in direction with the hands of Nurul Alam Atik.
Shilpi Sarkar Apu is acting in this film as a part of her responsibility to acting. While talking in this regard Apu told this correspondent, “Rabiul is trying to tale of a war-heroine in this movie. Earlier, I worked under his direction. It is his dream project. For this reason, as an actor, I have come forward to act in his movie. I believe he should get support for making this film. As a result, the new generation will be able to inform about the war-heroines.”
Director Rabiul also informed that besides Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Tiger Robi, Robin Sumon, among others, are also acting in this movie in other roles.
