The prize distribution ceremony for the successful Sheep Farmers in the district was held at the DC’s conference room here today.
Deputy Commissioner Rashida Ferdous was present in the function as the chief guest while Abdul Halim district life-stock officer in the chair.
Deputy Director, Department of Agriculture Extension Alimuzzaman Miah and District Women Affairs Officer Jamila Khatun, among others spoke on the occasion.
A total of 21 sheep farmers in seven upazilas of the district were awarded for their good performance.
