All-rounder Shakib al Hasan came to Bangladesh Cricket Board on Wednesday to give the corona test as he is expected to join the Mohammedan Sporting Club (MSC) team in a hotel ahead of the Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier League T20.
The top six teams take part in the super league on the basis of points accumulated in the opening phase of the traditional tournament comprised of 12 Dhaka-based premier division cricket clubs.
Shakib is eligible to join the league as his three-match ban imposed by BCB was lifted on Tuesday.
Shakib received the ban along with BDT Five Lakh fine for his misbehavior with the umpire centering a leg before wicket (LBW) appeal during their match against Abahani Limited.
Shakib left the hotel on June 12 after he was sanctioned by the board and Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis, a BCB-wing entrusted with the duty of organizing club-based league matches if different tiers in Dhaka.
During this break, Shakib had a signing agreement with AE-Reliable Consultancy to be their brand ambassador for the next two years.
According to a post on Shakib’s official Facebook page, it was disclosed that Shakib will be the face of AE-Reliable Consultancy in different education fairs and promote education and higher learning.
