The long awaited election of Bangladesh Mukhtijuddha Sangsad , Chittasgong district unit and Chittagong City Unit command was held peacefully at Govt Muslim High School premises on Wednesday.
The casting of vote begins from 9 am which continued upto 4 pm and the results was published in midnight . The district command panel led by FF Shahabuddin-Mahbubul Alam Parishad and the city command unit panel led by Mozaffar-Syed clinch victory with full panel .
Returning officer and Additional Deputy commissioner(LA) Md. Rabbi Meah told the New Nation that the vote casting held peacefully and out of total 675 members, 442 members cast their valuable votes. In 13 upazilas of the district, Shahauddin-Mahbu panel wins victory with Bus symbol.
On the other hand, in city command unit election, Mozaffar -Shahidul panel sweeps victory with full panel, sources said.
