Vice Chancellor of Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology Prof Dr Md. Rafiqul Alam said the whole world is now on search of new devices on power and energy with the alarming global need. The use of renewable energy is increasing day by day , he said.
He also stressed the decrease of general energy demand rather searching the renewable engery devices.
He disclosed it while addressing the seminar on ‘ Waste to Energy Technologies for Bangladesh’ held at CUET seminar hall recently as chief guest.
Head of the Mechanical department of CUET Dr. Sajal Banik presided the seminar duly attended by Prof. Dr. Mahbubul Alam, Dean of Mechinical Engineering faculty as special guest.
Associate Professor of Renewable Engergy department of Norway Agradar University of Engineering science Prof. Dr. Sowmin Rudra presented keynote paper in it, a CUET sources said.
