Bangladesh Under-19 team off spinner Sanjit Saha has been suspended from international cricket for suspected illegal bowling action, confirmed in an International Cricket Council (ICC) official briefing of on Sunday.
The 19-year old off break bowler was reported for suspected bowling after the first tournament opening match of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup between match between host Bangladesh and defending champion South Africa at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on Wednesday.
According to ICC specialist, Sanjit’s arm turns more than 15 degrees angles during his bowling that exceeds the rules of bowling action.
The return of Sanjit in the international cricket depends on an appeal for examination in the laboratory approved by ICC, after correcting his bowling action.
