Known about his penchant for melody, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali will compose the music for his forthcoming period drama ‘Padmavati.’ “He (Bhansali) is going to do music for ‘Padmavati’. Music has always been an integral part of his films. It’s too early to say anything on what music it (film) will have,” sources said. Earlier, Bhansali had scored the music for ‘Guzaarish,’ ‘Ram Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani.’ Though there is no official confirmation on the cast of Bhansali’s upcoming period drama, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are likely to team up again for the film.
