Sharmin Chowdhury, wife of Ismail Hossain Chowdhury Samrat and his brother Rafique did not appear at the Headquarters (HQs) of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in the city’s Segunbagicha on Monday.
They were asked to appear before ACC on
January 13 along with photo copies of National Identity Cards, passports and documents of tax returns of three years, ACC official sources said.
On January 7, the ACC has summoned through official letters sent to the wife and brother of expelled Jubo League Dhaka South President Ismail Hossain Samrat.
Earlier on January 12, Casino kingpin Khaled Bhuyan’s wife Suraiya Akhter, his brother Masud Mahmud Bhuiyan and Khaled’s brother Hassan Mahmud Bhuiyan’s wife Monsura Yeasmin were appeared at the ACC Head Office.
