Ten men Saif Sporting Club (SC) forced Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra to play a 1-1 goal draw in the Saif Power Battery Bangladesh Premier League Football (BPL) held on Wednesday at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
The first half saw the ball was confined midfield most of the time as both the teams failed to create any real scoring chance.
However, after the resumption, Jamal Bhuiyan gave the newly promoted team Saif Sporting Club a deserving lead in the 62nd minute (1-0), but their lead lasted a few minutes as Fazle Rabbi brought back Sheikh Russel in match to restore the parity in the 69th minute of the match (1-1).
Saif Sporting Club reduced to ten men as Riyadul Islam Riyad was shown double yellow cards by the referee in the 47th minute for his unsporting behavior on the ground.
