Saif Hassan’s 146 set Bangladesh A to post 300-9d in the first innings in reply, West Indies scored 43-2 at stumps on Day 3 in the second four-dayer at Darren Sammy Cricket Ground, on Friday.
Tagenarine Chanderpaul and skipper Joshua Da Silva were unbeaten on 21 and 12 runs respectively at the draw of the stumps. The host’s trail by 257 runs.

Bangladesh resumed on 157-5 on Day 3, and the overnight batters Saif and Jaker Ali put on a 101-run partnership which anchored their innings to set a fighting total.
Jaker was dismissed on 33 while Saif scored a gritty century and fell short of just four runs to reach the 150-run mark. Saif returned to the pavilion scoring 146 off 347 deliveries with 13 fours and 4 sixes.
Following, Saif’s dismissal Bangladesh announced to declare the innings at 300-9. For West Indies, , Colin Archibald and Anderson Philip scalped three wickets each.
