After a break of 10 years, noted actor Sadeque Bachchu is going to give direction of a theatre play. Under his own coordination Arambag Theatre started its journey 32 years ago. He later became engaged with acting in big screen. So he could not give time to theatre. He again took the responsibility of the group.
To celebrate 33rd founding anniversary of the theatre group, Sadeque Bachchu wrote the story of a play titled Kafon-er Pocket Nai. He will also give its direction. Its technical show will be held. For this reason, besides acting in TV plays and films, he has to give time to theatre. He will not only give direction of the play but also act in lead role. He is very much excited in this regard.
While sharing his feelings Sadeque Bachchu told this correspondent, “Three years ago when I became severe ill that I believed I would die. Allah’s grace and everybody’s pray I have recovered from illness. After returning I am engaged with acting in both TV plays and films. As I was founding president of Motijheel Theatre so I have taken the initiative to stage a new play on the occasion of its founding anniversary. I hope audience will enjoy the play.”
Sadeque Bachchu is very much regular in acting now. He is acting in Shahadat Hossain Liton’s movie Ahonkar, other movies. On stage, he last gave direction of play Kulangar. He is in parallel with acting in both positive and negative roles on the screen.
