Rupali Bank earned a comfortable 106-run victory over Indira Road Cricket Academy in the Dhaka Premier Division Women’s Cricket League at BKSP ground-4 in Savar on Thursday.
Batting first after winning the toss, the bankers’ team piled up a comfortable total of 208 for 7 in stipulated 40 overs, featuring 101 runs by Shaila Sharmin and Rumana Ahmed in the 4th wicket stand.
Two down Shaila Sharmin contributed the match highest 70 runs off 85 balls hitting eight fours and was adjudged the player of the match while number five Rumana Ahmed scored 45-ball 51 runs with help of six fours and one six.
Besides, one down Sanjida Islam (44) and opener Ayesha Rahman (12) were the other major contributors of the bankers’ team.

In reply, Indira Road CA folded their innings at 102 runs for 6 in quota 40 overs.
Shamima Akhter (23), Reshman Akhter (21), Rita Saha (14), Urmi Akhter (11) and Hena Akhter (10) were the main scorers for Indira Road reaching the double figure.
Shathira Zakir took two wickets fort 20 runs.
