For the first time, popular film actor Riaz performed against popular TV actress-model of present time Runa Khan in a TV play titled Ghore. Directed by Hayat Mahmud story of the play was written by journalist MS Rana. Shooting of the play began July 14 in the city’s Sutrapur area.
Riaz was earlier scheduled to take part in shooting of Ghore from July 11.
Due to his sudden sickness schedule was changed later. After taking rest for two days Riaz started to take part in shooting of this play.
While talking about working with Runa Khan for first time Riaz told this correspondent, “Runa is acting really well in her role against me in the play. It is no doubt that Runa is a good actress. Viewers will enjoy watching the play. Earlier I had worked under Hayat Mahmud’s direction. He works in organised way.”
Runa Khan shared her feelings by this way, “Though it was my first work with Riaz Bhai but he is so cooperative that I could work successfully in the play. He is not only a good human being but also a friend. Many persons do not have both the qualities. I am very much excited about my work.”
The play may be aired on Boishakhi TV in Eid-ul-Fitr, said its director.
On the occasion of ensuing Eid Riaz will be seen in several plays. In the meantime, he has started working in a new serial Abar Ashibo Phirey under the direction of legendary film actress Kobori. Ahona is acting against him in this serial.
Runa Khan is very optimistic about her acted a telefilm titled Devdut against Mahfuz Ahmed. She said, “I will request the viewers to watch the telefilm in Eid. I am grateful to Mahfuz Bhai to give me an opportunity to work in his telefilm.”
Tuhin Hossain’s Korban Ali’r Bank Balance and Amirul Islam’s Bhranti Bilash are mentionable plays acted by Runa Khan for Eid.
She has already finished shooting of her first movie Chhitkini. Therefore, she is also taking part in shooting of Mrittika Goon’s movie Kalo Megh-er Bhela. These two are government-grant movies, Runa said.
