The students of Rajshahi University on Wednesday formed a human chain on the campus demanding to take all of responsibilities of the university authority for Sowkat Omar Sajob’s treatment as he fell down from the roof of four-storied Rabindra Arts Bhaban on Tuesday.
The human chain was formed at around 12 pm in front of library premises of the university under the banner of the general students.
Over two hundreds of students joined in the human chain programme.
At that time, speakers said that Sajib fell from the building’s roof and received sustained injuries in his waist, right arm and two legs seriously because a part of the roof of the building collapsed.
He is now undergoing treatment at Rajshahi Medical College Hospitat (RMCH) adding that the incident was happened because different parts of the roof of the building were so much weak. So, the university authority will take all of responsibilities for Sajib’s treatment.
