Paying rich tribute to veteran political leader Mohammed Nasim, speakers participating in a commemoration meeting said the dedicated politician had organised Awami League led 14-party political alliance.
“As a devoted soldier of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Mohammed Nasim had organised the 14-party political coalition as its coordinator and spokesperson. The loss which has been created due to the death of the veteran political leader would never to be fulfilled”, they said in a virtual condolence meeting organised recently by the central 14 party alliance in the city.
Addressing the meeting, Awami League Advisory Council member and central 14-party Coordinator and Spokesperson Amir Hossain Amu said, “Mohammad Nasim had made the 14-party as a popular one at the national level. Nasim was ill, but he had implemented the 14-party’s programme throughout the country.”
He always had a blind support, respect and honor to Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina, said the 14-party new coordinator.
Amu said Mohammad Nasim had struggled against the evil force like non-communalism and militancy during his lifetime and worked for establishing democracy, adding that “Nasim’s father Captain Mohammad Mansur Ali was dedicated to Bangabandhu’s leadership and simultaneously his son Nasim also was fully dedicated to the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.”
Recalling the political contribution of Mohammed Nasim, ruling party Advisory Council member Tofail Ahmed said Nasim was our dearest political colleague and also had colorful political background.
“If we can able to build Bangabandhu’s dreaming Sonar Bangla under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, that would be the proper way to show respect to Mohammed Nasim”, said Awami League Presidium member Begum Matia Chowdhury in her address.
“We have lost our dedicated soldier as he (Nasim) never derailed from the commitment of building a non-communal welfare state”, said Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon.
