Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) on Sunday donated three patient beds to High Dependency Unit of National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
These three-function imported beds will help to give easy treatment to burnt patients, says a press release.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid was chief guest of at the handing over programme.
REHAB authorities pledged to donate 15 more beds for Dhaka Medical College Hospital and 10 more for Chittagong Medial College Hospital.
REHAB vice president Liakat Ali Bhuiyan, general secretary Md. Wahiduzzaman, chairman-Social and Members Welfare Standing Committee Md. Anawaruzzaman and other executive committee members were present.
DMCH director Brig Genl Md. Mostafizur Rahman, ex-National Coordinator Samanta Lal Sen, Head of Department and Project Director Prof Abul Kalam, Clinical Chief Prof Sajjad Khondker and other high officials from National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, Dhaka Medical College Hospital also attended the function.
