The Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) councilors on Thursday urged that those who have been maligning CCC’s reputation should refrain from doing so.
Amid the ongoing war of words between Chittagong city unit Awami League President ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury and the unit’s General Secretary AJM Nasir Uddin, also CCC mayor, the councillors came up with the request.
Chowdhury Hasan Mahmud Hasni, panel mayor-1 and also the councillor of Ward-20 (Dewan Bazar), read out a written statement at a press conference at Chittagong Press Club where 52 councillors out of 55 were present.
