The leaders of the ‘Jatiya Ghat Sramik League’ on Thursday said that hundreds of actual labourers of their organization are not getting the chance to work at the Sadarghat terminal. The result is that they are passing difficult times.
They said this in a press briefing organized at the Dhaka Reporters Unity in the city.
‘Jatiyo Ghat Sramik League’ President Abdul Jalil Hawlader read a written statement there. Organization’s Secretary Md Rafiqul Islam Khokan and other leaders were also present on the occasion.
Abdul Jalil said, Shipping Minister and his men have established a looting kingdom in the terminal area in the name of ‘collection’. They are operating the ghat with some fake labourers depriving the actual ones.
Jatiya Ghat Sramik League’s leader demanded the Prime Minister’s intervention for justice.
