Full-scale war seems to be in the horizon
It seems to be interesting unfortunately to note that the pogrom of 1919 in Poland and Ukraine is being repeated in Ukraine now in the twenty-first century but we are not aware of the reason for the Pogrom in the twenty-first century. The major reason could be the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine which began in 2014 following the status of and parts of Donbas region of Ukraine was in conflict with Russia while Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized formally two regions of Donetsk People’s Republic and Lunask Republic in the Minsk region on 21 February this year. It means Ukraine has become small country in the region because Ukraine has already lost Cremia peninsula in 2014. Now Mariupol has been captured by Russia.
According to one report President Putin is under the impression that Ukraine is under the control of the United States of America and wider plan of the West is to destroy Russia. Now President Putin has threatened Ukraine not to join NATO while President Putin similarly warned Europe and the West could be drawn into full scale war if Europe permits Ukraine to join NATO.
The present situation in Ukraine seems to be delicate since Europe has assembled troops in Poland, Romania and Lithuania while Moscow has massed troops on the border with Ukraine while many warships moved into Black sea by Russia. The situation seems to be preparation for full scale war like indeed .Russian air force in fact is reportedly taking great risks in its war on Ukraine. The Russian air force lost seventy seven fighter aircrafts in Ukraine since the war began on 24 February this year while Russian missile struck close to nuclear power plant in south Ukraine without damaging three rectors.
As of now 5,827 civilian have been succumbed to death a result of Russian invasion while UN High commission for human rights claimed that 8,421 children were affected in the war. Russia now plans to tighten its grip on occupied territory of the Ukraine. Meanwhile, Robert M. Gates, former Defence Secretary of the United States holds the opinion that Vladimir Putin might have made huge miscalculation since Finland and Sweden submitted their application to join NATO which means NATO is now at the doorstep of Russian federation. President Vladimir Putin of Russian Federation should think twice to continue to fight against Ukraine.
