Devote in research deeply

The people of this country are much familiar to the words ‘Alim’ and ‘Ulama’. The first one is singular while the last one is plural meaning the scholar(s). In our society, most of the people take him for Islami scholar, who has long beard, a cap on the head and wears loose cloak. Again there are some who believe without investigation whatever is said to them. This is wrong, bigotry and dangerous stumbling block to truth.
We read in the Ma Areful Quran with reference to the Verses 35/28, 29 that he is scholar who studies and researches the essence and attributes of Allah, His creations–expansion and alteration thereof, and His Mercy (and Punishment).
Hasan Basri said, he is Alim i.e. scholar, who fears Allah both in secret and publicly, desires what Allah likes and hates what He dislikes. Learning of the Arabic language and grammar thereof is not enough to be a Alim if he does not study the Quran regularly, perform Namaj submissively and spend both in secret and publicly from what Allah has given.
If we can recognize real scholars, we shall remain safe from misinterpretation and suicide bomb attack.
