We are living in a very strange country indeed where the unreasonable demand of a handful of people is being fulfilled surreptitiously while seventeen crore peoples rightful demand of abandoning Rampal coal fired power plant and Rooppur nuclear power plant is being ignored and protesters are harassed by the police.
Rampal plant will destroy the Sundrebans, a heritage site and with it the ecosystem will suffer a massive blow.
Rooppur nuclear power plant might destroy the country because there are so many aspects which will not be possible to tackle by our country.
So, we hope the government will come to its senses and save the country from destruction.
