The official meeting of Rural Development and Co-operative Division (RDCD) of the Rural Development and Co-operative Ministry was held through a video conference in the city on Wednesday. The online meeting was held for keeping the official works normal avoiding gathering during the Coronavirus pandemic with RDCD secretary MdRezaul Ahsan in the chair, said a press release.
Heads of different organizations of the division and senior officials took part in the meeting.
Ahsan said more online meetings will be held with different other organizations under the division in future.
He said a number of proposals, received from different organizations for providing government support to the affected people due to corona crisis, have been sent to the Prime Minister’s Office.
The meeting advised the officials to run their activities maintaining social distance.
Bangladesh Rural Development Board Director General (DG) Supriya Kumar Kundu, Director General of Department of Cooperatives Md Aminul Islam, Amar Bari Amar Khamar Project Director Akbar Hossain and Bangladesh Rural Development Academy DG Md Shahjahan, among others, joined the meeting.
