Rayer Bazar Athletic Club beat Begum Anowara Sporting Club by 13 runs in their match of the Dhaka First Division Women’s Cricket League at the City Club Ground on Thursday.
Electing to bat first, Rayer Bazar Athletic Club made a fighting total of 191 for the loss of eight wickets in 40 overs and then they all out Begum Anowara Sporting Club for 178 off 39.3 overs.
Romana Sharmin of Rayer Bazar hit 39, while her teammate Fatema Hossain made 30.
Akhi Akter of Begum Anowara Sporting Club bagged a pair of wickets at the cost of 39 runs.
Later, Chamely Akter of Begum Anowara Sporting Club made 36, while her teammate Reya Akter scored 32.
Fatema Hossain captured four wickets instead of 30 runs, while her teammates Nusrat Jahan and Eva Akter bagged a couple of wickets each for 13 and 15 runs respectively.
Fatema Hossain was adjudged the Player of the Match for her all-round performance.
