The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Twenty20 Cricket match between Barisal Bulls and Chittagong Vikings was washed out due to rain at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur on Saturday. It had been started to drizzle since morning and was continued before the Match Referee declared the match postponed.
No ball was delivered and no bat struck a cherry due to rain.
All the time the total ground was covered by pitch-cover.
The day’s second match between Comilla Victorians and Dhaka Dynamites was postponed due to rain.
Earlier, the first match of the BPL Twenty20 Cricket between defending champions Comilla Victorians and Rajshai Kings has been postponed due to rain on Friday at the SBNCS.
Besides, the second match of the BPL Twenty20 Cricket between Khulna Titans and Rangpur Riders was washed out by rain at the same venue on the same day.
Meanwhile, BPL Governing Body Council withheld the first four matches and today’s (Sunday) matches due to inclement weather.
The six matches will be held after November 8 on the rest days.
