UNB, Lalmonirhat :Police arrested an employee of Public Service Commission (PSC) from Shreekhata village in Kaliganj upazila on Tuesday midnight for his alleged involvement in the leak of question paper of the recruitment test for government primary school assistant teachers.The arrestee was identified as Majedul Islam,38, son Sohir Ali, a resident of the village.Tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive at the house of Majedul in the village around 12am and arrested him.The recruitment test for the posts of assistant teachers at the pre-primary section of the government primary schools in 17 districts, including Lalmonirhat, was held on April 18.Being informed, DB police conducted a raid at Doyel Residential Hotel in the district on Friday noon (on the exam day) and arrested 25 people along with leaked question papers from there.Later, a case was filed against some people in this connection. The arrested PSC employee Majedul was one of the accused.
