The headmaster of a local Govt. Primary School was found dead at Dumuria village in Adamdighi upazila on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Rashid, 50, headmaster of Dumuria Govt. Primary School and a resident of the village. Local people found the body of Abdur Rashid one kilometer off his residence

The deceased was identified as Abdur Rashid, 50, headmaster of Dumuria Govt. Primary School and a resident of the village. Local people found the body of Abdur Rashid one kilometer off his residence
around 8 am and informed police. On Information, police recovered the body and sent it to a local hospital morgue.
Police said, the body bore several stab injury marks. Quoting his family members, police said Abdur Rashid went missing since she came out of his house around 10 pm for feeding his fish in a pond.
Zahiduzzaman, Officer-in-Charge of Adamdhighi Police Station, said police arrested a couple-Abdur Razzak, 35 and his wife Mahfuza Begum, 28-for their suspected link to the killing. Police suspected that Abdur Rashid might have been killed over illicit relationship with Mahfuza, said the OC.
