Under the direction of playwright Shamima Shammi Prova acted in a challenging role in a play titled Othocho Cactus Noi. In this play, Prova acted in role of Kobita who falls in a trouble with her husband to work with her office boss related complexities. Shamima Shammi herself wrote story of the play. Shooting of the play was wrapped up on Monday in the city’s Uttara area. While sharing her feelings about performance in the play Prova told this correspondent, “There are some characters in which emotional values come from inner mind while working in plays. I was so fascinated with the character Kobita while working in that role in the play I was really fall in love with it. Shammi Apa tried her level best to present the character in the play properly by me. I believe viewers will enjoy watching the play.”Director Shamima Shammi shared her feelings by this way, “Earlier Prova had worked under my direction. There is nothing new to talk about Prova’s acting. She performed outstandingly well in the play. I am very much optimistic about the play. It will go on air in any satellite channel soon.”It may be mentioned that earlier under the direction of Shamima Shammi Prova acted in plays Ebong Nil Canvas and Roktodrone, telefilms Nistobdhotar Kichhukkhon, Golap Noi Gladiolus, etc.Now Prova acting and Aronno Anwar directing a serial Dohon is being aired on ATN Bangla regularly. Therefore, she recently acted against film actor Amin Khan in a play. But Prova has intention to work in a good role in a commercial movie right now. If she gets good story, good role and reputed director she will act in big screen, Prova said.
