Dr Nazrul Islam, Associate Professor of Mathematics Department of Jahangirnagar University (JU) has received his PhD and some other international awards for his outstanding achievement in the field of mathematics. He was awarded PhD for his outstanding research on “Optimization of time and cost in project management: A project crashing mathematical and computational approach”.
His PhD research completed from Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania, under the supervision of Prof Dr Eugen Draghici, Department of Mathematics and Informatics.
Besides, he was nominated three more international awards as the best presenter on “Exponential Diophantine equation of the form”, “A Problem on Project Management by using WinQSB- PERT/CPM” and “Analyzation of Project Completion Probability after Crashing a Project” He also received two more gold medals named ‘Dr Surat Ali Khan Gold Medal’ and ‘Sharfuddin Gold Medal’. Dr Nazrul has a total of 16 research papers published in different international journal.
