The authority of Islamic University (IU) in kushtia has appointed Professor Dr Jahangir Hossain of Islamic History & Culture Department as the news proctors of the University on Thursday.
IU Vice-Chancellor Professor Shaikh Abdus Salam appointed him to the post for the next one year, a press release confirmed the matter issued by university registrar office.
Prof Jahangir was appointed to the post as the tenure of of previous proctor Professor Dr Paresh Chandra Barman of Information and Communication Technology department.
