The Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) formed a three-member committee to look into the theft of a new-born baby at the hospital on Thursday.
The hospital’s Deputy Director Mushfiqur Rahman said Assistant Professor KM Shahidullah attached to the gynaecology ward was heading body. Runa Begum, 27, gave birth to two babies on Tuesday.
One of her children went missing the following day from ward number 213. A police complaint has been lodged over the incident.
