Wife slaughtered for dowry in Laxmipur

BSS, Laxmipur :Housewife Rasheda Begum was slaughtered last night by her husband for dowry at Char Kadira village under Kamalnagar upazila of the district.Rasheda’s husband Mohammad Sumon, 30, went to the bed room last night and slaughtered her by sharp weapon for Taka 30,000 dowry money and fled the scene leaving her body in pool of blood.Police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to the Sadar Hospital morgue for postmortem.Mohin Uddin, a union parishad member of Char...
