Global star Priyanka Chopra feels ‘honoured to stand alongside amazing trailblazers’
in the Forbes List of ‘100 Most Powerful Women of 2017’.
The 35-year-old actress took to her Instagram account and wrote, “Honored to stand alongside these amazing trailblazers, who show us everyday that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to and that it’s ok to stay true to who you are. Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them. #PowerWomen #Worlds100MostPowerfulWomen @forbes.”
The desi girl is ranked at 97th spot in the list, while the number one post is enjoyed by Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel,
followed by UK Prime Minister Theresa May and businesswoman (Co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) Melinda
Gates respectively.
Forbes placed the Quantico star on the 15th spot on the list of ‘Most Powerful Women In Entertainment And Media,’ a list which has names like Beyonce, Taylor Swift and
JK Rowling among others.
