Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club defeated Shinepukur Cricket Club by four wickets in their match of the Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier League (DPL) Cricket at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on Monday.
Chasing Shinepukur Cricket Club’s 162 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs, Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club romped home making 163 runs for the loss of six wickets when they had just two balls to spare.
Saif Hasan of Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club notched up a splendid 50. His 35-ball innings saw four big sixes.
Fazle Mahmud Rabbi of Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club made 41 from 33 balls, while Shamim Patwary scored 22 from 16 balls.
Farhad Reza of Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club hit a windy 27 using only 11 deliveries.
Mohor Sheikh of Shinepukur Cricket Club bagged two wickets, while Tanvir Islam, Hasan Murad, Sumon Khan took one wicket apiece.
Earlier, Mahidul Islam of Shinepukur Cricket Club hit 44 from 32 balls, while Robiul Islam made 34 from 36 balls.
