The prices of Rice and several other essential commodities continue to soar in the kitchen markets despite the country has sufficient stocks.
The prices of key essentials items, including Rice, Pules, Oil, Onion,Potato and Egg have been soared notably blaming shortage of supply in
recent time.
Prices of some items have been doubled comparing to the last year.
Keeping the kitchen markets stable, the government has fixed the prices of some commodities, but the treads are not following the fixation.
Thousands of law and middle -income families in Kishoreganj ate struggling to cope with the rising prices of essentials including food and vegetables., as their income fell due to ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
