President Abdul Hamid on Saturday expressed deep shock at the death of Cuba’s former president and leader of communist revolution Fidel Castro.
In a condolence message, Abdul Hamid said the death of Fidel Castro will create a vacuum in world politics which will never be fulfilled. “The people of the world would always remember his contribution to the struggle for realizing the rights of exploited people of the world,” he added.
He expressed deep sympathy to the people
of Cuba and its government and prayed for the salvation of his departed soul. Meanwhile, in another message, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed profound shock at the death of the Cuban revolutionary leader. Fidel Castro, Cuba’s former president and leader of its communist revolution died around 10.30 pm (Cuba local time) on Friday night at the age of 90. BBC quoted Cuba President Raul Castro as saying, “The commander in chief of the Cuban revolution died at 22:29 hours this evening.”
