Abahani Limited and Usha Krira Chakra won their respective matches of the Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League on Monday.
In the day’s first match, Abahani Limited blanked Dhaka Wanderers Club by eleven goals to nil at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Abahani led the first half 2-0.
Khorshedur of Abahani Limited scored five goals with a hat-trick, Mimo netted three goals, Rumman scored two goals and Musa Mia netted one goal.
In the day’s other match, Usha Krira Chakra defeated Azad Sporting Club by 5-1 goals at the same venue.
The first half was locked 1-1.
Chayan of Usha Krira Chakra scored three goals and his teammates Mainul and Krishna Kumar successfully struck one time each on the board.
On the other hand, Mahmub scored a goal for the losers.
Today Sonali Bank S& RC will face Sadharan Bima at 3.00 pm at the same venue.
