PRAN-RFL Group created over 12,000 jobs in Habiganj through setting up a modernize factory.
“The socio-economy index of the area began to change gradually after the establishment of the factory,” said Kamruzzaman Kamal, Director (marketing) at PRAN-RFL Group.
The conglomerate is playing an important role alongside government for the economic development of the northeast district of Bangladesh, he said while speaking to a view exchange program with Habiganj journalists.
The program was addressed, among others, by H M Manjurul Islam, general manager of Habiganj industrial park, Jafar Iqbal, general manager of RFL bike, Ehsanul Habib, senior manager administration and Zeaul Haque, manager communication PRAN-RFL Group.
The company, which has a staff of about 78,000, is working for empowering the marginalized people, especially for the women.
“More jobs opportunities will be generated within a short span of time in Habiganj factory,” Kamruzzaman Kamal said mentioning the company created the jobs for the last two years.
RAN-RFL Group launched the activities of Habiganj Industrial Park located at Olipur under Sayestaganj upazila in 2014.
