Observing that there is no instance of resolving any political crisis without discussions, President of Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) Prof Dr AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury on Tuesday said the second option is the war to overcome the crisis.
He came up with the remarks at a discussion on ‘Free Journalism, Jeopardised Humanity and Restoration of Democracy’ organised by Bangladesh Mufassil Sangbadik Foundation at the Jatiya Press Club.
Noting that even Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had sat in discussion with the Pakistani government before the Liberation War, B Chowdhury said, “No initiative is in sight for holding a dialogue although there’s no warlike situation in the country.”
