Polish ambassador in Singapore, Zenon Kosiniak-Kamysz, made a courtesy call on Vice-Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University (JU), Professor Farzana Islam, at the latter’s office on Sunday.
During the meeting, the envoy called for increasing bilateral research and cooperation in academic sector between two countries.
Prof Farzana Islam thanked Zenon and expected that a treaty would be signed between the two countries for cooperation in education sector very soon.
JU Pro-VC Professor Abul Hossain, Treasurer Professor Abul Khayer, Proctor Professor Tapan Kumar Saha and Consulate of Polish Embassy in Dhaka, Mohammad Zakiul Islam were present, among others, in the meeting.
