A private tutor was sent to jail hajot through court on Wednesday afternoon on the charge of abducting his girl student of class vii from Faridganj and then raped her by keeping her confined in a room at Matuail, Dhaka for 13 days, after he was arrested by Faridganj Thana Police team from there (Matuail, Dhaka) with the help of applying modern technology the same day in the morning . The arrestee private tutor was identified as Mizanur Rahman,42, (father of four children) hails from Khajuria village under Faridganj Upazila. He worked as a private-tutor of the 14 year-old – girl student of class vii, named Khuki Begum(imaginary name)- of the local Khajuria High School in Gupti Paschim union of the Upazila and daughter of a farmer of the same village. Earlier, on 24 July on her way back from school, the girl was tactfully abducted by the private tutor Mizan who took her and kept her confined in a house at Matuail, Dhaka and raped her for 13 days. After failing to trace the girl, on 6 August, a case under Nari O Shishu Nirjaton Domon Act (Amended,/ 03, Sec 7/30) filed with Faridganj Thana and following this, a Police team led by Sub Inspector Sumanto Majumder traced and specifically located the accused private tutor Mizan from Matuail area, Dhaka and then rescued the abducted girl from the same area with the help of the local Police.
