Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia on Friday assured the voters of safety and security in casting their franchise on December 30 .
Tight security measures have been taken for all.
“They (voters) can go to the polling centres without fear and return homes safely,” he said after visiting Willes Little Flower School voting centre in Kakrail on Friday afternoon.
Police, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), Special Weapons And Tactics (SWEAT), Bomb Disposal unit and Cyber Security team will meet the emergencies.
DMO official sources said that around 2113 voting centers had been identified as risky. Nearly 45,000 members of Police and Ansar would work in the centers.
