Folk poet Abdul Hai Mashreki Research Centre is going to unveil cover of CD on Bangabandhu O Swadhinata Jari in a programme on December 14 on the occasion of Victory Day on the premises of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
Child artistes of Gendaria Kochi Kanchar Mela will perform in the programme.
In 1973, on Bangladesh Betar this Jari (announcement) was recorded under the voices of Sabina Yasmin and Abdul Alim. Later it was lost by some unscrupulous anti-liberation war minded persons. After many searching, folk song researcher Rafiqul Haque Jhontu collected that copy. Recently he handed over this document to the Mashreki Research Centre. The Centre later decided to release it. Dhir Ali Mia composed its music.
