Today is the 52nd Birthday of Popular Poet and Rhymer Jaglul Haider.
He was born on 8 October 1965 at Dewanganj Upozila of Jamalpur district.
His first book of short poems onukaby ‘Chumbak’ Published in 1993. He started to writing in then popular national weekly Chaltipatra in 1998. And in National daily’s from the beginning of the Century. After his debut in daily’s he became a storm in Bengali Rhyme.
Meantime his 33 books have been publish among ‘Banglar Mukh Banglar Myth’, ‘Twin Tower Ruin Tower’ `Se Kaler Golpo E Kaler Chhora’ ‘Odvut Bod Bhoot’ ‘Shawadhinatar Kabbyaetihas’, ‘Fangkolo’, ‘Rajniti Vaj Niti’, ‘Power Play’ & ‘Selected 100 Rhymes’ etc.
Beside Rhyme He Also works in Several Literary fields, like poetry, drama juvenile story.
He is a lyricist too. His Street drama ‘Narai’ got 90 shows already. ‘Lokkho takay khat kena jay ghum kena jay jay ki bolo’ a popular song written & tuned by him & sung by eminent singer Monir Khan.
He received several distinguished award like Podokkhep, Shahid Syed Nazrul Islam & Sripur Sahittya Parishad Puroskar etc.
Today’s the evening. a ‘Ananda-adda’ (joyful gathering) will be held in Babui Prokash Premises at 23/3 Topkhana Road to Celebrate his 52nd Birthday by literary allies.
