General Secretary of Awami League Obaidul Quader on Sunday said the party president and prime minister Sheikh Hasina will exchange views with all political parties.
“The parties will be invited to the Ganobhaban through letters, Obaidul Quader said.
Obaidul Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister said this after holding a meeting with the party MPs and president and general secretaries of some district units adjacent to Dhaka at party’s central office at Bangabandhu Avenue on Sunday.
“The parliamentary elections are over and our party president on Saturday at party’s joint meeting said that she will invite the leaders of the political parties who took part in the pre-polls dialogue,” he said.
The leaders of the Oikya Front, Jukta Front, Awami League led alliance, Jatiya Party and other political parties would get invitation letters, the minister said.
A total of 234 political leaders of 70 political parties took part in the dialogues before the general election.
Joint General Secretaries of Awami League, Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Abdur Rahman, Organising Secretaries State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hassan Choudhuory and others attended the programme among others.
