PM takes responsibility of student Rhidoy, magistrate Quader’s treatment

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday took the responsibility for the treatment of SSC examinee Shahriar Rhidoy and executive magistrate Abdul Quader Mia, and asked the authorities concerned to send them abroad for better treatment.
PM’s Deputy Press Secretary Ashraful Alam Khokan said the Prime Minister asked one of the PMO directors, Dr Zulfiqar Lenin to ensure their better medical treatment.
Both the injured are now undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Ophthalmology for their treatment.
Earlier, the Prime Minister on Saturday also took the responsibility of another injured student of Feni Minhajul Islam Anik.
Rhidoy and Anik, students of Feni Government Pilot High School, suffered injuries when masked terrorists hurled a crude bomb on them in Khejur Chattar area in Feni town on January 5 on their way back home in a rickshaw from their private tutor’s house.
Executive magistrate Abdul Qauder Mia sustained injuries in a crude bomb attack by miscreants in the district town on January 9. Miscreants hurled a crude bomb at a microbus carrying Quader near the police quarters on Shaheed Shahidullah Qaiser Road around 9:05pm. The magistrate was on his way to Dhaka-Chittagong Highway to perform his duty with members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
