Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday expressed deep shock at the death of Sundar Ali, former president of greater Sabujbag Thana Awami League in the capital.
In a condolence message, the Premier recalled with deep respect the contributions of Sundar Ali to building the country and strengthening the Awami League.
“The Awami League has lost a long time tested leader in his death,” she said.
Sheikh Hasina prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul of Sundar Ali, who was also a valiant freedom fighter.
